VACANCY FOR THE POST OF MANAGER /ASSISTANT MANAGER- BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (GENERAL INSURANCE)
Post – Manager /Assistant Manager- Business Development (General Insurance)
Qualifications -
- A degree or an equivalent qualification (SLII/CII, SLIM, or CIM) in Insurance, Sales & Marketing is a must
- MBA or a management related post graduate qualification shall be an added advantage
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, coupled with outstanding presentation and communication abilities. Proficiency in English and Sinhala is essential, while proficiency in Tamil would be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in IT, including familiarity with MS Office, CRM, ERP Systems, and related tools
- A track record of results-oriented performance, demonstrating the capacity to meet and exceed targets within deadlines.
Experience –
- A minimum of 06 years insurance industry experience within sales and marketing for Manager,
- 04 years for Assistant Manager.

Rs. 80,000 above For Assistant Manager

Job Role –
- Crafting annual, monthly, and quarterly sales plans for both individual and corporate clients.
- Collaborating with the core team to achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Compiling crucial data from potential clients and the market, meticulously maintaining records.
- Coordinating and conducting meetings with corporate clients, ensuring effective follow-up.
- Collaborating closely with the technical team throughout the quotation process until insurance cover confirmations are secured.
- Nurturing existing client relationships, efficiently managing portfolios and handling claims on behalf of clients.
- Taking the lead in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing sales team, motivating them to surpass targets.
