URGENT VACANCY FOR THE POST OF SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Maldives (Male & Hulhumale)

Experiences & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 – 15 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying background

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or other relevant discipline

• Chartered qualification in MRICS is required

• Strong knowledge of the construction industry

• Proficiency in IT skills, including Excel

• Knowledge of accounting software, Microsoft Project, Revit, Navisworks, and CAD is beneficial

Job Role:

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client

• Assist in establishing client requirements and undertaking feasibility studies

• Undertake cost analysis for construction and maintenance projects

• Perform risk, value management, and cost control throughout the construction phases

• Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks

• Prepare and lead procurement strategy while maintaining procurement schedules

• Ensure accurate and timely cost and value reporting at project and business unit levels

• Conduct cost management, forecasting, and cash flow reporting

• Update monthly CVR, cost, and commercial plans

• Provide advice on contractual terms and conditions

• Value completed work and prepare bills for submission to the client

• Report progress to senior management

• Work closely with contract and site management staff to support the smooth running of the office and site
