Vacancy for Customs Brokerage Officer  - Seychelles

 Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Customs Brokerage Officer to join the logistics and clearance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all import and export shipments comply with customs regulations and are cleared efficiently.

 Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate customs declarations via ASYCUDA World for imports and exports.
• Liaise with customs authorities, shipping agents, and clients to ensure the timely clearance of shipments.
• Verify shipping documents, invoices, and permits for regulatory compliance.
• Follow up on inspections and resolve clearance issues proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of declarations and correspondence.
• Stay updated on customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.

Entry Requirements

• Minimum passed secondary education qualification; a certificate in Customs or Logistics is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in customs clearance or brokerage operations.
• Proficient in ASYCUDA World and familiar with trade documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

 Salary: Negotiable  Based on experience and qualifications
